Beidh imeachtaí difriúla ar siul sa Ghaelscoil i rith na seachtaine. Gan dabht ar bith is beatha teanga í a labhairt. Cuirtear fáilte roimh na páistí gléasadh mar dhuine cáiliúil Éireannach ar an Déardaoin 16ú Márta. Iarrfar ar dhaltaí €2 a thabhairt le ar an lá. Rachfaidh an t-airgead chuig carthanacht phaistí ABC Droichead na Banndan. This year Seachtain na Gaeilge will run from 13th - 16th March. Seachtain na Gaeilge is a wonderful opportunity for us here in the Gaelscoil to celebrate our native language and culture. It’s always an eventful time in the school and we look forward to a week of fun. On Thursday, children are invited to dress up as a famous Irish Person as part of Seachtaine na Gaeilge celebrations. Each child is asked to donate €2 and all money will go towards ABC (Aid Bandon Children). |
Mar chuid de Sheachtain na hInnealtóireachta, tháinig Learn It Lego chun na Gaelscoile chun céardlann a chur faoi bhun do phaistí ó Rang 1 - Rang 6. As part of Engineers' Week, Learn It Lego visited the Gaelscoil. pupils from 1st - 6th class Covered all of the Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) subjects. The LEGO Education based workshops gave students the opportunity to become engineers, researchers, analysts, designers and more. Through the practical and hands-on approach, students learned to take measurements, analyse data, make predictions, solve problems and design solutions. Every child took part, working in teams to build and test their projects.
