Ba mhór an spórt a bhí ag daltaí na scoile an Aoine seo chaite nuair a tháinig áiseanna ó Just4Fun chun na scoile!

The children had a fantastic active day on Friday when the games & bouncing castle from Just4Fun came to school!

Beidh duine ó Chumann Náisiúnta Ríoga na mBád Tarrthála ag teacht ar cuairt chugainn ar an Luan an 21ú lá de Mheitheamh chun labhairt leis na ranganna mar gheall ar chúrsaí sábháilteachta san uisce.

A member of the Water Safety Education Team in Courtmacsherry Harbour Lifeboat will visit the school on Monday June 21st to give a presentation to all classes on the importance water safety and to find ways of getting Respect the Water message across to improve safety on and near the water. Educating young people about how to keep safe, in on and around water is fundamental to saving lives and a core part of the RNLI’s water safety activities.

Bhí Seachtain Ghníomhach ar siúl againn an tseachtain seo caite. Bhí neart gníomhaíochtaí spóirt éagsúla ar siúl ag na ranganna agus b'é ardú ár mBrat Aclaí nua buaicphointe na seachtaine! Tháinig veain uachtar reoite & bhí damhsa & spraoi againn ar an gclós!

Active School Week took place in the school last week. Classes took part in many sports initiatives in preparation the highlight of the week - raising of our new Active School Flag!

Lá Spóirt na Scoile/ School Sports Day

Bhí Lá Spóirt na Scoile againn inniu, an 1ú lá de mhí an Mheithimh. Lá den scoth, lán de spórt 's spraoi a bhí ann. Ghlac na leanaí páirt i spóirt éagsúla le linn an lae agus béim ar leith ar chluichí oilimpeacha, rugbaí leasite, leadóg, rásaí, cluiche corr & cispheil san aireamh. Ba mhaith linn buíochas ó chroí a ghabháil le Múinteoir Maria a d'eagraigh an lá & na daltaí ón 5ú Bhliain a bhí ag cabhrú linn.

The School Sports Day took place on Tuesday, 1st June. It was a great day full of fun & activity. The children took part in various different sports with a specific emphasis on the Olympic Games, including tag rugby, tennis, races, rounders & basketball. A special thank you to Múinteoir Maria who organised the day & to the wonderful 5th year students who helped us.
